About Saturday Socials
Saturday Socials is a free fortnightly social ride run by the Derby MTB Club. It's a great opportunity to ride with your friends, or make new ones, as you enjoy the awesome Blue Derby trails. Magic flow! Hero dirt! Each fortnight will be a different route, with a short and long loop to cater for different levels of fitness and experience. There may be the occasional night ride, and from time to time, a post-ride BBQ. We can't wait for you to come and join us!
The TLDR;

Meet: Trail head

Loops: Choice of a short or long loop
Frequency: Every 2 weeks
Registration: Yes, but we will accept walk ups on the day
License: Mandatory

About the Ride
The ride is:
open to new and existing members from any club
for all ages, levels of experience, or fitness levels
fun, supportive and social
a group ride. No one is left behind.
This Weeks Route
Grade: Green/Blue
Long Loop:
Meet at trail head. Up the fire road on the other side of Cascade River. Over the new bridge to the 5 ways -> Lower Long Shadows -> Upper Long Shadows -> Return To Sender
Short Loop:
Return to Sender (meet at Black Stump 3:30pm)

Licenses
You must have an AusCycling Lifestyle or Race membership to participate.
If you don't have a license but would like to participate, AusCycling offers a 4 week free trial license. Find out more at the AusCycling website. Even better - support us and join the Derby MTB Club.
