The Derby MTB Club is a not-for-profit association formed to promote and encourage mountain biking as a fun, healthy, and inclusive recreational activity and sport. We are run by a group of passionate volunteers, who live and breathe mountain biking. The Derby MTB Club relies heavily on volunteer efforts and membership fees. That's why sponsorship is an absolutely vital component to help ensure the sustainability, growth and success of the Derby MTB Club. Sponsorship provides the crucial financial injection needed to cover a range of essential costs, both day-to-day running costs, and the fulfilment of our short and long term objectives and goals.

Equipment and Infrastructure:
Getting a mountain bike club off the ground is a huge undertaking. Implementing a racing program brings it's own challenges, particularly regarding equipment. To successfully run events, the Derby MTB Club will need to purchase race timing gear & software, communications equipment, registration tents, signage, first-aid supplies and lots more. Sponsorships can help fund these essential investments.

Event Organisation:
The Derby MTB Club hosts a variety of races, social rides, and other events that foster community and promote the wonderful sport of mountain biking. Sponsorship helps cover some of the costs of these events, including permits, insurance, registered paramedics, food and drink stations, prizes, and marketing.

Trail Maintenance and Development:
As Derby MTB Club is a not-for-profit organisation, a portion of our profits will go directly to the maintenance and development of the Blue Derby Trail network. The Derby MTB Club also organises trail maintenance days, working under the supervision of the Derby full-time trail crew, giving valuable assistance in this crucial work. Sponsorship helps the Derby MTB Club fulfil these important endeavours.
